How it works

From completed paper to a clear next step.

Remark closes the gap between getting a score and knowing what to do about it.

Upload both paper files

Add your completed answer script and its official marking scheme as separate PDFs, then confirm they belong to the same Cambridge paper.

See where every mark went

Review provisional marks, detected working and a clear explanation for each mark gained or lost.

Practise the gap that matters

Remark turns recurring evidence into a prioritised plan, then checks the fix on a later paper.

Inside Remark

Everything between “I got this wrong” and “I know what to do.”

Question-by-question marking

Provisional marks, detected working and marking explanations for every question.

Every lost mark explained

See whether the likely cause was knowledge, method, accuracy, carelessness or timing.

Patterns across papers

Build an evidence-backed learning profile that gets sharper with each completed paper.

Your next best action

The highest-impact gap is quantified and linked directly to focused practice.

A personalised improvement plan

Every action has an effort estimate, a finish line and a reassessment step.

Practice that proves itself

A topic only counts as improved when a later paper confirms the change.

Wall of Love · fictional preview

The moments Remark is designed to create.

Clear feedback. Less guessing. A study plan grounded in the work you actually did.

I stopped revising every topic equally. The plan made the three gaps costing me marks impossible to ignore.

Amara J.Year 11 · IGCSE Maths 0580

I could go from a flagged question straight into a short practice task instead of searching for what to revise.

Theo M.Year 13 · AS Maths 9709

My learning profile finally connected individual mistakes to a pattern I could actually work on.

Chloe P.Year 11 · IGCSE Maths 0580

Seeing the detected working beside the marking explanation made the feedback feel specific to my paper.

Daniel K.Year 12 · AS Maths 9709

Low-confidence marks were clearly separated, so I knew what to check against the mark scheme myself.

Maya A.Year 11 · IGCSE Maths 0580

Reassessment matters. Ticking a task is not treated as proof that I have fixed the topic.

Kofi B.Year 13 · AS Maths 9709

The useful part was not just the score. It showed me why the same mistake kept appearing across papers.

Sofia R.Year 11 · IGCSE Maths 0580

The next-best-action card made the dashboard feel calm. One useful task, not another overwhelming list.

Zain H.Year 12 · AS Maths 9709

The report explained marks lost in plain language without pretending an approximate grade was official.

Lina C.Year 11 · IGCSE Maths 0580

Good to know

Honest answers before you upload.

Remark is careful about what the available evidence can—and cannot—say.

What can I upload?

Two PDFs for the same Cambridge paper: your completed answer script and the official marking scheme. Remark asks you to confirm the syllabus, session and variant before analysis.

Are the marks and grades official?

No. Marks are provisional AI estimates and grade bands are approximate. Low-confidence answers are flagged for you to check against the mark scheme.

Which subjects are supported?

Eight Cambridge syllabuses are marked question by question: IGCSE Mathematics 0580, and AS & A Level Mathematics 9709, Physics 9702, Chemistry 9701, Biology 9700, Accounting 9706, Economics 9708 and Business 9609 — the structured and data-response papers, where the scheme awards discrete marks. Essay papers marked by level descriptors, IGCSE Computer Science and the IB Diploma appear as catalog previews while their assessment strategies are evaluated. Review the marks before relying on them.

When does Remark say I have improved?

Completing a practice task is not enough on its own. Remark records a fix only when evidence from a later paper confirms it.
